Doctorate of Philosophy

PURPOSE:

The purpose of the Doctor of Philosophy Degree is to provide advanced competencies and Biblical insights into the practice of Christian Service for those actively involved as a vocation.

OBJECTIVES:

  1. To evaluate personal, spiritual and professional development and design a plan for lifelong learning.
  2. To demonstrate and apply a comprehensive and critical philosophy of Christianity.
  3. To demonstrate and advanced understanding and integration of Christianity in relation to the Biblical, theological, academic and ministry disciplines.
  4. To plan, implement and critically evaluate major undertakings in Christianity toward the fulfillment of the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20) and the Great Commandment (Matthew 22:37-38).

PRE-REQUISITE:

Specialist of Arts Degree from an accredited institution or Zoe University with a minimum of 33 credit hours and a grade point average not less than 3.0.  Eighteen credit hours of pre-requisite courses are required, if the candidate did not receive previous degrees from Zoe University.
